Sherwood Ridge Lead Learner - Mathematics

Throughout 2019 the Mathematics Lead Learner will support the development of effective teaching practice across the area of Mathematics. This will take place in stage and grade teams, through both team teaching, lesson demonstrations, resource developments and resource provision. The main focus for Mathematics in 2019 will be implementing the Numeracy Learning progressions which will give staff a detailed knowledge of the skills that our children have in Mathematics. We will also be focusing on developing our student’s problem solving skills and mathematical thinking through open ended and differentiated activities.
