Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Principal's message
Welcome to Sherwood Ridge Public School, a close-knit community at the heart of Kellyville. Since 2004, we’ve embraced our motto, ‘From Each Their Best’, inspiring every student and staff member to reach their full potential with kindness and respect.
We believe in nurturing the whole child through innovative and evidence-based teaching and a supportive, inclusive environment that supports excellence for all students. We pride ourselves on a culture of inclusion and respect, where every learner is valued and empowered to succeed.
Our well-established learning and support team provide individual, small group, and class-based support, ensuring every student, including those learning English as an additional language, receives the help they need to succeed.

Beyond academics, our school offers a wide range of extracurricular activities where students can shine. From sports, arts and public speaking to creative arts and debating, along with a thriving High Potential and Gifted Education program that nurtures students’ intellectual, creative, physical and social-emotional growth.
Our unique Wellbeing Mentor program supports every student’s wellbeing, complemented by our Positive Behaviour for Learning framework, Anti-bullying plan, and Bounce Back program. Through our partnership with Kids Giving Back, students engage in authentic community projects, such as preparing breakfast boxes and connecting with local aged-care residents, fostering empathy and social responsibility. Together, these initiatives help our students develop resilience and become confident, responsible citizens.
As Principal, I am grateful for our active parents and staff who create a welcoming place where every family feels valued. Together, we build a positive, caring community where all students are encouraged to grow, learn, and shine.
